Michael: Every Day

David is a psychiatrist specializing in cognitive behavioral therapy. Translation: David and his patients engage in real-life exercises designed to conquer specific fears. David is a depressed workaholic with a controlling nature and a bit of a drinking problem. With his impending divorce from Sammy, the void left by Michael, and his financial struggles, he is barely hanging on.

Michael is well established in his new city of Toronto; he is building a successful career, he has a modern apartment downtown, and a new therapist. Michael finally seems to have it all together. When a promotion at work sends him on a business trip, he suffers a surprising and devastating panic attack at the airport. He returns to Ottawa for help with his fear of flying, only to find that David is in worse shape than he is.
