Congrats to Jason Buxton’s BLACKBIRD for receiving the grand prize in the Cannes Junior program! BLACKBIRD previously won Best Canadian First Feature Film during the 2012 Toronto International Film Festival, an award it shared with Brandon Cronenberg’s ANTIVIRAL. BLACKBIRD stars Connor Jessup and Alexia Fast, playing now in select Canadian theatres.
