Emily Wang, a struggling addict, is arrested for heroin possession after her partner overdoses fatally. After serving six months in jail, she discovers she has lost custody of her son. Her late partner’s father, who has been raising the boy, reaches out to Emily, offering her a chance to reconnect with her child.
